Biography

2021 (Senior):
- Started all 43 games for the Aggies, increasing her career total to 228, which is second only to her sister in the program record book. 
- Hit .350 with a team-high .658 slugging percentage to go along with a .490 on base. 
- Fourth in the LSC with 11 homers, adding to her 33 RBI total and 37 runs scored. 
- Recorded 12 multi-hit games and 11 multi-RBI contests. 
- Crushed the New Mexico foes with 10 hits, 10 runs scored, four homers, and 12 RBI over the four-game span. 
- Threw out four potential base stealers from behind the plate. 
- Wrapped up her career ranked seventh on the program record list in on base percentage (.433), eighth in homers (35), third in hits (231), second in RBI (180), fifth in runs (147), fifth in doubles (44), third in walks (95), and third in at-bats (682). 
- First team All-Lone Star Conference, her fourth All-LSC honor.

2020 (CoVID Senior):
- Started all 25 games she played during the shortened season.
- Led the team with a .364 averaged and 26 RBI.
- Had a .649 slugging percentage with eight doubles, one triple, and four homers.
- Recorded seven multi-hit games and eight multi-RBI outings.
- Had four RBI with two bombs against East Central.
- Tallied four RBI and was 2-5 against Nebraska-Kearney.
- Posted a .993 fielding percentage with 124 put outs and three caught stealings.

2019 (Junior):
- Second on the team in batting average (.371) and third in OPS (1.051) 
- Started all 55 games for the Cameron Aggies in 2019
- Finished third in runs scored, coming around to score 38 times in 2019
- Earned the second most hits (62) on the team
- Busby earned the most doubles of any Aggie with 12
- Finished second on the team in home runs with 9 in 2019
- Earned the highest steal percentage (minium 3 steals) 
- Busby earned second team Lone Star Conference honors in 2019

2018 (Sophomore):
- For the second straight season, Busby started every single game behind the plate for CU, posting a .990 fielding percentage with 269 putouts, 23 assists and 10 caught runners.
- She was also one of CU's top hitters, batting .310 with 45 hits, 25 runs scored, and 37 RBI, which was the team high.
- Busby also had 10 doubles and seven homers, which gave her a .524 slugging percentage while also walking 23 times.
- She tied for the team lead with eight multi-RBI games and nine outings where she had multiple hits.
- Busby had a great series late in the season against Western New Mexico, going 6-9 with three runs scored and seven RBI.
- She also had a four RBI game against Tarleton State, going 2-4 with two runs scored and a homer.
- Busby was named second team All-LSC and All-OSN during her sophomore campaign. 

2017 (Freshman): 
- Started all 53 games for the Aggies behind the plate, batting .308 with 53 hits.
- Busby recorded 28 runs scored and 38 RBI with four homers.
- She posted a .995 fielding percentage with 167 putouts and 27 assists with only one error at the catcher position.
- Recorded 15 extra base hits with two games with three hits, while driving in multiple RBI 12 different times.
- Busby had a season best five RBI against Texas A&M-Commerce on March 4.
- Named to the All-LSC Third Team.
