PERSONAL - Jaelynn Huerta, born on March 18, 2004, is from San Benito, Texas. She is recently attended Vernon College, majoring in Agriculture Science with a focus on Animal Science (Pre-Vet). Jaelynn’s family includes her mother, Mary F. Gonzalez; her father, Julian Huerta; and her siblings, Juan, Jaedyn, and Jiannah Huerta. A dedicated Houston Astros fan, Jaelynn enjoys watching movies like Nacho Libre and Waterboy. She has a particular fondness for buffalo wings and fries, especially with extra ranch, and is a fan of the anime show One Piece. 

AWARDS - Throughout her athletic career, Jaelynn has achieved several accolades. In high school, she received the Freshman of the Year Award, was named Co-Defensive Player of the Year for the 2021-22 season, and earned Academic All-District honors in both the 2020-21 and 2021-22 school years. In college, she has been recognized as All-Academic for the 2023-24 academic year and received an Honorable Mention for the same period.
