Cooper Harris was named the Assistant Baseball Coach for the Cameron Aggies in July of 2022.
Harris comes to Cameron University after spending one year as an assistant at Vernon College. At Vernon, he managed the pitchers and catchers while also collecting and organizing data, organizing camps, practices, and weight room schedules, and recruiting the area from Houston to Wichita, Kan.
During his collegiate career, Harris started at Northern Oklahoma College (Enid), where the team won a Conference Championship as well as a South Central Plains Regional, going on to finish third at the World Series in 2018. Harris then attended LSC power West Texas A&M and was a part of the 2019 and 2021 LSC Championship runs.
Harris was an All-Region selection at NOC-Enid and then appeared in 26 games for the Buffs. His best season at WT was in 2020 when he held opposing hitters to a .143 batting average on the mound.
Harris was born and raised in Broken Arrow, Okla. but graduated from Celina High School in Celina, Texas.
