Biography

After a stellar two year career with the Cameron men’s tennis team, Diego Troiano will now take the reigns as James Helvey’s graduate assistant coach. Troiano completed his bachelors degree in May 2010 and is working towards his masters degree in Business Administration.

Troiano is from Dracena, Brazil and before coming to Cameron University, he attended Laredo Community College in Texas for two years. Troiano was twice NJCAA National Championship in 2007 and 2008.

In his time at Cameron, Troiano finished the year 2008-09 as No. 12 in doubles national ranking and during the 2009-10 season as No. 51 in singles. He was also a member of the Cameron Honor Roll and a one time Long Star Conference player to watch.
