LAWTON, Okla. – The Cameron University men's tennis team opened up their year with an 8-1 victory over Oklahoma Baptist on Tuesday afternoon.
Cameron would head into the break with a commanding lead, sweeping OBU in doubles. The Bison would manage to only get four games overall from CU's doubles pairings.
With the 3-0 advantage, the Ags would take two through six singles to give them the 8-1 win over the Bison. Cameron's only blemish was in number-1 singles with
Dennis Merdan falling, 6-4, 6-2.
The Aggies will continue their fall season traveling across the Red River to Wichita Falls for the Midwestern State Invite starting on Sept. 13.
