LAWTON, Okla. –The drama of reaching career win #700 was short lived for Head Coach James Helvey as the Aggies crossed the milestone number with two wins on Saturday against Metro State.
 
Officially win #700 will go to the Aggie women who took down the Roadrunners first with a 7-2 win. 
 
Cameron took the one and three doubles slots to lead 2-1 over Metro State into singles play.  The Aggies dominated singles competition winning slots two through six.  Samantha Wood remained prefect in singles play battling back from a 6-3 loss in the first set and won the final two sets, 6-2 and 6-0.  Antonia Moberg held her own in the six slot sweeping both sets 6-0 and 6-0.
 
In the men's side the Aggies had to battle back from a 2-1 hole out of doubles to squeak out a 5-4 win over Metro.  
 
Cameron's lone doubles win was in the three slot with Angelo Lencioni and Felipe Oyarzun earning the 8-4 victory.
 
The middle of the Ags lineup guided them to the win by sweeping the two through five slots.  Oyarzun won in the two slot, 7-6 and 6-2 and Lencioni was victorious in the four slot 6-0 and 6-3.
 
"All the credit for this milestone goes out to all of my teams, past and present," said head Coach James Helvey.  "If it wasn't for them this would not have been possible." 
 
The Cameron men will return to action with matches on Friday and Saturday against Colorado State-Pueblo and Ouachita Baptist.  The women will be off until March 3, where they will travel to East Central University.
