RED OAK, IA – Cameron in their first of three matches this week split with Northwest Missouri on Thursday.  The Aggie men saw their eight match winning streak end after falling 5-0, while the women remained perfect this season by beating the Bearcats 5-3.
 
Weather forced Thursday's matches indoors and to Iowa, originally the Aggies were slated to play on Northwest Missouri's campus.
 
On the men's side the Aggies struggles in doubles continued after dropping all three slots.  In singles, Dennis Merdan and Felipe Oyarzun lost their respective matches as the Aggies decided to suspend their remaining singles slot after NWMU clinched the win.
 
The Aggie women are now 6-0 this season and they got off the right foot winning in the one and two doubles slots over the Bearcats.    Samantha Wood continued to go undefeated in singles play after winning the number-3 slot 6-3, 6-1; Florencia Tornero gave CU the clinching win in the number-4 slot 6-1, 6-2.
 
Both teams will remain on the road on Friday to face Rockhurst University at 1 pm.
