Women's tennis remains perfect after sweeping Washburn 5-0

TOPEKA, Kan. – A late start didn't stop the Cameron University women's tennis team from sweeping Washburn 5-0 on Saturday night.

Weather forced teams indoors in Topeka and the Aggie women had to wait out Washburn who was playing a league match against Central Oklahoma prior facing Cameron.

Both teams reversed their typical match order and started with singles completion where the Ags quickly finished off Washburn by taking the one through four and six slot to win the match.

No results were recorded in doubles completion against Washburn.

Cameron who is a perfect 8-0 will travel on March 12 to face Southern Nazarene.
