SOUTHLAKE, Texas – The Cameron women's team fell 5-2 to Tarleton State in the opening round of the Lone Star Conference Tournament on Friday afternoon.
Tarleton State took the match advantage out of doubles with a 2-1 lead at the intermission,

Samantha Wood came up with CU lone 8-6 win in the two-slot.
Cameron couldn't recover in singles with
Florencia Tornero winning her seventh match in a row 6-0, 6-2 in the four-slot to move her season record to 22-5. TSU would take the one, five, and six slot to clinch the win.
With the loss the Aggies will fall to 18-6 overall; they will await an announcement from the NCAA on April 29 to see if they will be selected to the national tournament.
