LAWTON, Okla. –The Cameron men's tennis team earned their spot in the NCAA postseason and in result will host Western New Mexico for the Regional Tournament, Monday at 11 a.m.
At 17-8 on the year, the Aggies earned the number-2 seed in the South Central region and for the second straight year will host the regional contest for the program's nineteenth postseason trip.
The number-3 seeded Western New Mexico Mustangs will head into Lawton with a 13-8 record and their fifth straight RMAC title under their belt.
Last time these two teams met up was in 2013, with the Aggies claiming the victory in New Mexico, 5-4.
The winner of the regional match will advance to the round of 16 in Altamonte Springs, Fla., May 14 at 4 p.m. against the winner of the East Regional which consists of Southern New Hampshire, Merrimack, and Concordia.
