LAWTON, Okla. -- The Cameron women's tennis team will head to San Antonio on Sunday looking to knock off St. Mary's after a one year absence from the NCAA Tournament.
This will be the second meeting between these two teams this season with the Rattlers getting the win, 7-2 on a neutral court in Plano, Texas.
The Aggies (18-6) are coming off of a 5-2 loss to Tarleton State in the first round of the Lone Star Conference Tournament. Prior to that, CU finished the regular season on a two match winning streak, beating both Seminole State and UT-Permian Basin, 7-2.
St. Mary's (15-4) comes into the match off of a 5-0 win against UA-Fort Smith to win their second straight Heartland Conference Tournament title.
Sunday's match will start at noon with the winner advancing to the NCAA Championships for the round of 16 in Altamonte Springs, Fla. starting on May 14.
