WITCHA FALLS, Texas – Cameron's run at the ITA Regional came to an end on Sunday morning after
Angie Torres fell in the singles semifinal.
Torres was Cameron's remaining player after winning her round of 16 match (7-5, 6-2) over Brooke Hughes of St. Edward's and her elite-8 match (6-2, 6-4) over St. Mary's Tyra Trim.
In the semifinals match, Torres was paired with Midwestern State's Kayla Casey where the two would square off in a tough three set match. However, it would be Casey pulling through late with a 6-3, 7-6(5), 6-2 victory to advance to the regional final.
