Looking back:Â On Oct. 27 the Aggies snapped their six game losing streak with a 3-2 win over West Texas A&M. The win marked the first time since 1998 that the Aggies have defeated West Texas A&M with the last victory dating back to CU's LSC Tournament title.
Overall, Cameron ended the match with 65 kills, a .124 attacking percentage, and 117 digs, while West Texas A&M had 63 kills, a .136 hitting percentage, and 132 digs. The Aggies had two players achieve a double-double on the match. Freshman

Setting the stage: Against rival Midwestern State, CU leads the overall series 32-17 and is 13-9 in Wichita Falls with the Aggies last away win occurring in 2006. Last season, the home-and-home series was split with both teams winning on their home floor. Earlier this season, the Aggies defeated the Mustangs 3-1 in CU's home opener on Sept. 22. Cameron ended the match with 52 kills total and a .211 attacking percentage compared to MSU's 45 kills and .093 attacking percentage.

About Midwestern State: Midwestern State is in last place in the LSC standings with a 0-11 conference record. The Mustangs are 5-20 overall and are experiencing a six game skid. The team has struggled on the road at 0-9 but is 3-6 at home. MSU has two with over 200 kills with Hunter Porter leading the team with 211, averaging 2.37 per set. She is followed by Meghan Bettis who has 202 kills and averages 2.46 per set. On the defensive side, Kiley Beaver has a team high 68 blocks, and Matti Dix leads her team in digs with 404 on the season.

The rest of the league:Â Friday evening in the LSC will see three other league matches with Angelo State visiting West Texas A&M, Texas Woman's visiting Texas A&M-Kingsville, and Eastern New Mexico hosting Tarleton State.

Kat Evans is the lone senior on the Aggie squad and is one of nine CU volleyball players to surpass 1,000 kills. The Pearland, Texas native has played in 112 matches and has 1,273 kills, which is sixth highest all-time at Cameron.
