PLANO, Texas – The Cameron men continued on with their perfect season after a 7-2 win against Collin College on Thursday.

The number-31 ranked Aggies moved up to 4-0 for the season by getting the early 2-1 edge out of doubles on the number-7 nationally ranked Junior College program.

Final Results

Dennis Merdan and Joao Fazendeiro won in the number-2 doubles lot 8-1, and in the three slot as Angelo Lencioni and Felipe Oyarzun squeaked by with a 9-7 win.

In singles, Cameron flexed some muscle and took the top four singles slots and six slot for the match win.   The lone nationally ranked match featured number-49 Fazendeiro defeating number-44 Jack Riess without a problem by winning his 12th match of the season 6-1, 6-1.  Quietly, the senior Lencioni has put together a nice start to the season with a rally in the four slot, 6-2, 3-6, 10-5; the match was his eighth win of the season.

The Aggies will continue on and play Tyler Junior College on Friday at 11 a.m.
