LAWTON – Cameron returned to the win column after tough loss to St. Mary's with a 6-3 win at home against East Central on Friday afternoon.

The Aggies took a 2-1 advantage early on the Tigers with Paula Gutierrez and Eugenia Sanchez earning a 8-2 win in the top doubles slot, Samantha Wood and Dejana Veljic took the three slot 8-6.

In singles play, Cameron took the top four slots Gutierrez won in the top singles slot, 6-0, 6-3; Wood dropped only one game with a 6-1, 6-0 win in the three slot.  Angie Torres rallied from behind in the two slot 4-6, 6-2, 10-4.

With the win Cameron will move to 5-1 overall and they will travel to Springfield, Mo. on Mar. 16-17 to face Drury and Southwest Baptist.
