DENVER – The number-30 Cameron men's tennis team earned a mile high 6-3 win over MSU-Denver on Friday.
Cameron's victory was their second in as many chances within in the Central Region where the Aggies are holding onto the number-2 slot; MSU-Denver landed in the eight spot in the poll.

Mateo Velasco pairing winning in the number-2 doubles slot 8-2. Cameron's other pairing of
Florian Kartner and
Andres Velasco needed a tiebreaker to win 9-8 (11-9).
In singles, it was the middle of the CU lineup providing the boost with wins in the two through four slots. Oyarzun playing the two slot for the first time this season rallied back from a 6-4 first set loss and won 6-2, 6-4 in the final two for the victory.
With the win Cameron will move to 8-6 overall and MSU-Denver will fall to 7-7.
Cameron will remain in Colorado and face Colo. Mesa in Grand Junction on Sunday.
