GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – Cameron rallied from a 2-1 doubles deficit to beat Colorado Mesa 6-3 on Sunday for the second win in a row on Sunday.
The Aggies dropped the one and three doubles slots but it was
Angie Torres and
Magdalena Kovinic coming away with an 8-2 win the two slot.
In singles play, the Aggies dominated by taking the one through five slots to go to 8-4 this season.
Paula Gutierrez won in the top slot 7-5, 6-1 and Kovinic rallied back from a 6-4 loss in set one to take her match in the final two sets 6-2, 6-1.
Cameron will remain in the Mile High State for one more match on Monday to face Colorado State-Pueblo.
