LAWTON – The Cameron University men's tennis team got their second sweep in a row as they followed up a 7-0 sweep of UTPB on Friday with a 9-0 win over Arkansas-Fort Smith on Saturday to move to 14-7 on the season.
All three doubles matches were tight as

Mateo Velasco won a 9-8 match in the one spot and

Joao Fazendeiro got an 8-6 win in the two spot.

Andres Velasco rounded out the doubles pairings with another 9-8 win.
All six singles matches went the way of the Aggies, with no match going past two sets. Merdan won 6-0, 6-4 in the one spot and Oyarzun got the 6-4, 6-2 win in the two spot. In the three and four spots, Fazendeiro and M. Velasco both got 6-0, 6-0 wins.
Lencioni got an 8-1 victory in the five spot and
Iustin Baciu got the Aggies ninth point with an 8-6 win in the sixth spot.
Cameron will have a quick turnaround as they host Midwestern State on April 20 for their second to last regular season match of the season. Â
