LAWTON – Cameron's return home was spoiled on Thursday by St. Edward's as the Hilltoppers would get an in-region 6-3 win.
The number-30 Aggies were riding a three match winning streak and SEU who were ranked number-34 nationally and fourth in the South Central region. St. Edward's had lost six out of their last seven matches heading into their visit to Lawton, Cameron was ranked second in the SC Region.
Cameron fell behind early and dropped two doubles matches to the Hilltoppers, CU's one win would come in the three-slot with

Andres Velasco winning 8-6. However, the Aggies luck would not change in singles play as they woukld drop their top four slots to fall.
Mateo Velasco and
Iustin Baciu won in the Aggies five and six singles slots.
With the loss, Cameron is now 10-7 overall, while St. Edward's climbs to 5-7.
Cameron will next host St. Mary's on Friday at 10 a.m.
