WICHITA, Kan. – The Cameron men have won five of their last six matches after besting Newman 6-3 on Saturday afternoon.
Cameron used strong doubles play to give them an early edge by winning the top two slots.

Mateo Velasco won in the top-slot 8-4 and 
Dennis Merdan / 
Joao Fazendeiro came ahead in the two-slot 8-5.
In singles play, the Aggies won in the bottom three slots and Merdan took the top-slot 6-4, 6-3 for the match victory.  
Angelo Lencioni took the four-slot 6-3, 6-3, 
Mateo Velasco won in the five slot, 6-2, 6-3, and 
Iustin Baciu nearly swept the six-slot 6-1, 6-0.
The win will push Cameron to 12-7 overall and with four matches remaining CU will at least finish the regular season with a winning record; Newman will fall to 16-7 overall.
Cameron will be off until April 13 where they will host their rivals Midwestern State at 2 p.m.
