LAWTON – The Cameron University men's tennis team will officially see the court for the first time on Tuesday when they will face Cowley College for a neutral site duel in Oklahoma City.
This will be CU's lone duel match in the fall and will embark into individual competition for the rest of the front half of the schedule.
Cowley College will be no roll-over match for the Aggies with a ranking at number-9 nationally in the ITA Junior College level. The Tigers had one duel match this fall and lost at Newman 7-2 in Wichita, Kan.
Cameron is ranked number-19 nationally in NCAA Division II as an independent program and won their third South Central Regional title last spring over Midwestern State in Wichita Falls.
The Aggies would also advance into the Elite Eight for the first time in program history with a final record at 17-9.
The last time both programs met was in February with the Aggies win 7-2 over the Tigers in Edmond.
