Jenna Gillean led the CU offense with 13 kills while senior

Ciandra Seabourn led the team in digs with 13 followed by sophomore Christina Viera with 11. Gillean had five blocks on the night.
As a team, Cameron had one more kill than TAMUK, 43 compared to 42, and had the better hitting percentage, .228 compared to .176. Texas A&M—Kingsville had 19 errors to CU's 15. Both sides ended the match with 58 digs each.
Setting the stage: The Aggies will open their first of nine home matches with their rivals from Midwestern State where CU leads the overall series 31-17. Despite the Aggie dominance in the historical series, the Mustangs have won 10 out of the last 12 meetings. Last season, the home-and-home series was split with both teams winning on their home floor. In the Aggie Gym, Cameron won on Halloween in four sets with Kat Evens leading the way with 13 kills and

About Midwestern State: Midwestern State is currently sitting in last place in the LSC standings. The Mustangs are 0-1 in conference play after falling 3-1 (25-18, 24-26, 25-16, 25-15) at Texas A&M—Kingsville on Sept. 19. MSU is 4-7 overall and has not won a match on the road but is 2-0 at home and 2-4 at neutral sites. Sophomore Meghan Bettis leads the Mustangs in kills with 120 on the season. She is followed by senior Hunter Porter who has 101 kills. Collectively, the team has 512 kills and averages 12.8 kills per set. On the defensive side, the Mustangs have had 685 digs in their eleven matches with freshman Matti Dix holding a team high 151 digs so far.
The rest of the league: Tuesday night in the LSC will see two other league matches with Angelo State at Texas A&M-Commerce and Tarleton State visiting Texas Woman's. Eastern New Mexico will be at the University of the Southwest in Hobbs, N.M.
