DENVER,  Colo. -- #15 Cameron pushed their winning streak to eight taking down Metropolitan State of Denver 7-2 in CU's first official road victory of the season.

The dual wasn't pretty for the Aggies who were playing against an unranked MSU-Denver squad who took CU's top two doubles slots.  Cameron's top doubles group, consisting of
Felipe Oyarzun and
Mateo Velasco ranked #18 nationally fell 8-3.  CU's lone doubles win came in the three slot with
Joao Fazendeiro and
Dennis Merdan taking an 8-2 match.

MSU-Denver worked the Aggies over in singles play, pushing three slots to a third set.  However, Cameron would pull away and sweep singles play entirely for the dual win.  Fazendeiro won his tenth singles match in a row 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 in the two slot and
Felipe Oyarzun won his eighth match in a row 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (4) in the four slot.
Vinicius Santos and Merdan both won their matches 6-1, 6-0.

The win for Cameron will send them to 10-2 overall and MSU-Denver falls to 5-8.

Cameron will return to the courts in Denver on Tuesday in what will more than likely be their toughest match all season where they will face #2 Hawaii Pacific.  The Sharks enter their dual with the Aggies 12-0 and sweeping Midwestern State 9-0 on Monday.
