AUSTIN, Texas – No. 12 Cameron picked up their fourth road win of the season beating No. 33 St. Edward's 5-4 on Thursday at the Austin Tennis Club.
 
Despite the final score, the match was clinched by the Aggies 5-2 for over an hour before St. Edward's picked up wins in the top and bottom singles slots.
 
Cameron won in its two and three doubles slots with Vinicius Santos and Bruno Babic taking a 8-6 match in the two-slot, Dennis Merdan and Joao Fazendeiro came up with an 8-5 win in the three-slot.
 
In singles, Santos came off the court first in the three-slot 6-4, 6-3, and St. Edward's made it 3-2 after they took two-singles.  Mateo Velasco later won 6-3, 7-6 (7-5) in the five-singles, and Felipe Oyarzun clinched the match in four-singles 7-6 (7-5), 6-0.
 
Cameron's win will move them to 14-4 overall and St. Edward's will go to 9-11. 
 
The Aggies will be off until Sunday, April 17 where they will travel to St. Mary's in San Antonio, Texas.
