LAWTON, Okla. – The Cameron baseball team closed out their series with Tarleton State with a 15-2 loss in seven innings on Sunday afternoon.
 
The Aggies drop to 15-6 overall after falling three games to one against the Texans. TSU is now 15-6 themselves on the season.
 
Cameron was out-hit 7-14, with 
Anthony Acevedo having the only multiple hit game for the Aggies with a 2-for-3 day at the plate. 
Jorden Fields hit the only double for CU, and 
Cole Williams hit a solo homerun.
 
William's home run tied the game at one run each in the second inning, and 
Bronson Pulgados brought the Aggies a 2-1 lead with an RBI single.
 
However, in the third, the Texans would plate three for a 4-2 advantage on three RBI singles. The fourth inning saw TSU cycle through their lineup adding eight insurance runs, which included a grand slam. Then they made it 15-2 game through the seventh inning.
 
Starter 
Pierce Edwards (1-1) was charged with the loss after giving up three earned runs through two innings pitched. 
Tyler Abrego, Matt Glassman, 
John Millan and 
Adam Bosch made appearances for the Aggies.
 
Next the Aggies will travel to Texas A&M-Kingsville for a four game series March 17-19.
