LAWTON, Okla. – After being off for over a week, the Aggie women's tennis team picks up the pace with five games in six days, March 10-15, traveling to face opponents in Arkansas, Alabama, and Florida.
The no. 17 ITA ranked women are 2-3 on the season, having beaten Central Oklahoma in their last match 5-4. CU has the no. 21 ranked singles player
Paula Gutierrez and the 32nd ranked player
Zhenia Shviadok on their team, as well as the pairing of Gutierrez and Shviadok being ranked 25th as a doubles team.
UAFS is just 2-7 on the season with their two wins coming against John Brown and the University of the Ozarks.
North Alabama is 4-1 with wins against Delta State, West Georgia, Christian Brothers, and Martin Methodist.
The West Alabama Lady Tigers are 7-2 and ranked no. 26 in the ITA rankings. They have the no. 31 ranked singles player in Amina Mukhametshina and the no. 14 doubles pairing of Mukhametshina and Georgina Morral.
Spring Hill is 6-11 on the season and has won three out of their last five matches.
The West Florida women are going to be tough to beat as they are ranked seventh in the ITA team rankings and Paula Lopez is the no. 41 ranked Paula Lopez on their squad.
Cameron will head back home for their next match after the trip to Florida, hosting Northwest Missouri State on March 21.Â
