LAWTON, Okla. -- The Cameron volleyball team gears up for their final Friday/Saturday homestand of the season as they face off against UT Permian Basin and Western New Mexico this weekend; Saturday's match against WNMU is CU's senior day.

First Serve:
- CU volleyball will honor their seniors prior to the match against Western New Mexico, as it is their last Saturday home match.
- The Aggies are ranked No. 23 in Division II and fourth in the Lone Star Conference with 187 total blocks this season, averaging 2.05 per set.
- Senior
Brittnee Altic is just 99 digs away from being the eighth member of CU's 1,000 dig club; she is third in the conference this season with 440 digs.

Brandy Carr, also a senior, is 12th nationally and second in the league with 101 total blocks in 2018.
- UTPB's top hitter, Skyler Friel, is second in the LSC with a .369 attack percentage and leads the team with 203 total kills.
- Bria Augustine from WNMU, is No. 1 in the league with 9.98 attacks per set, and is second with 3.55 kills per set.
- Cameron is just 1-4 in the last five matches against UTPB and 2-3 against Western NM.
About the Aggies:
- Cameron is now 2-21 on the season and 0-13 in LSC play, after falling to Eastern New Mexico and West Texas A&M last weekend to extend their losing streak to 14 matches.
- CU struggles offensively, hitting just .148 with 10.4 kills and 9.6 assists per set, but on defense they are near tops in the league with 2.1 blocks per set while also averaging 15.8 digs.

Paige Dixon leads the Black and Gold with 224 kills, while Carr has 158,
Shantalle Demirjian has 128, and
Ashleigh McFatridge has 118 kills in 2018.

Katherine Manning has a team best 465 assists on the season, while
Kirsten Evans and
Bailee Smith have combined for 320 assists.
- Altic not only leads the team with 440 digs, but she is also No. 1 in the conference with 37 service aces.
Scouting the Falcons:
- UT Permian Basin enters the weekend with an 11-10 overall record and a 6-6 conference mark, however they are just 3-7 on the road this season.
- UTPB averages 11.7 kills and 10.9 assists per set while hitting .172 as a team on the offensive attack, while on defense, they average 16.4 digs and 1.9 blocks per set.
- Friel leads the team with 203, while three others, Travana Matthews, Aguincia Strambler, and Marissa Aguilar, also have over 130 kills each.
- Analise Lucio and Kiera Granada have combined for 679 assists this season, while Sarah Vasquez has a team-high 291 digs and Friel and Matthews are tied for the team lead with 72 total blocks.
- In the first matchup of the season between the two teams, Cameron had 13 blocks in a four set match, but the Falcons out-killed CU 67-43 to earn the win; Matthews and Friel combined for 33 kills, while Manning led the Aggies with a 19 assists, 13 dig double-double.
Scouting the Mustangs:
- Western New Mexico is 7-14 this year and 3-9 in conference matches, and currently has the second longest losing streak in the league at five.
- WNMU attacks at a .149 attack percentage, while averaging 12.3 kills and 11.8 assists on offense, and on defense, they average 16 digs and 1.7 blocks per set.
- Augustine and Selai Damuni lead the team with over 200 kills each, while both Erin Moss and Delany Seitz each have over 100.
- Madelynn Culp is the team's top setter, with 5.31 assists per set, but Sophia Mitchell and Sarah Campoli chip in with over 4.00 assists per set each.
- Gabi Lau has a Mustang best 391 digs on the season and Deyzha Samuelu leads them with 64 blocks.
- The Black and Gold had 13 blocks in the five set loss to WNMU earlier this season, as Culp led the Mustangs with 34 assists and Carr and Dixon led CU with 11 kills each.
