OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The Cameron men's tennis team took down Cowley College on Tuesday, 5-4 after winning all but two of the singles matches.

The Aggies started off the match down 2-1 after falling in the one and three doubles matches. In the two doubles battle, the pairing of Julen Gutierrez and Vinicius Santos beat their opponents 8-3.

In singles, CU was able to win all but two of the matches to secure the 5-4 win. Gutierrez won 6-4, 6-3 as the no. 1 singles player, while Przemyslaw Zielinkski won 6-1, 6-2 in the two spot and Santos won 6-1, 6-3 in the third singles match. In the four match, Mateo Velasco was up 6-1, 5-1 before his opponent retired.

The 2-2 Aggies will next play on Feb. 23 as they face Seward County College in Oklahoma City.
