OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The Aggie women's tennis team opened up their 2018 spring season with a win as they took down Southern Nazarene on Monday, 7-2.
Cameron started out by sweeping the doubles matches 3-0. In the one spot, 
Zhenia Shviadok and 
Mathilde Thibaudat won 8-1, while 
Sarah Frendo and 
Sara Petric won 8-4 in the two spot and 
Melany Opolz and 
Rebeka Velasova scored an 8-4 win in the three position.
In singles, the top-50 ranked Shviadok won in three sets in the no. one singles match, while Thibaudat won 6-4, 6-1 in her match in the third spot. Petric also won in three sets in the no. four singles match, while Velasova won her match 6-0, 6-1.
The Aggies will be back in action on Wednesday, Feb. 21 as they visit No. 13 Central Oklahoma for a match beginning at 1 p.m.
