Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Aggie women's and men's tennis teams both travel to St. Mary's to take on the ranked Rattlers on Saturday and dropped a pair of matches, 6-3.

In the women's match, No. 7 St. Mary's started out with a 3-0 lead, winning all three of the doubles matches, 8-4, 8-5, and 8-1.

Cameron answered by scoring three wins in singles, as Melany Opolz, Sara Petric, and Rebeka Velasova each won in the four through six singles matches. Unfortunately, the Aggies fell in the top three singles positions as the Rattlers came away with the 6-3 win.

The Black and Gold is now 3-4 on the year, while STMU keeps their undefeated record at 9-0.

The CU men started out their match down 2-1, as Vinicius Santos and Julen Gutierrez won their match 8-4 in the No. 2 doubles position.

Santos and Gutierrez continued their momentum into singles play, as they both won their matches in the two and three spots, but those would be the only points CU would record as the No. 23 ranked Rattlers won the remaining four matches to win 6-3.

Cameron now sits at 3-5 on the season, while STMU improves to 7-3.

Both the Aggie women and men will return to their home courts on Tuesday, March 12, as they host Southeastern Oklahoma State for a pair of matches beginning at 2 p.m.
