Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 AUSTIN, Texas – The Cameron University tennis team split a pair of matches at St. Edward's on Saturday, as the Aggie women one 7-2 and the men fell 6-3.

The Aggie women started trailed 2-1 after doubles play as CU's No. 1 team was the only pairing to get the win as Zhenia Shviadok and Mathilde Thibaudat defeated their opponents 8-6.

In singles, the Black and Gold was able to comeback and win all six singles matches with Shviadok, Sarah Frendo, Melany Opolz, and Rebeka Velasova all winning in straight sets at No. 1, 3, 4, 6.

Cameron's men team did not fare as well as the women, falling 6-3 to the Hilltoppers. They started out the match like their women counterparts, trailing 2-1 after doubles play. Mateo Velasco and Przemyslaw Zielinski had the only win, a 8-5 victory at No. 1.

All but one of the singles matches were straight set contests. Zielinski was able to get a win at No. 1, while Julen Gutierrez won his match in the No. 3 spot. However, earned the remaining singles win to secure the win.

Both teams have a three match Spring Break road trip coming up this week as they visit Emporia State, Northwest Missouri State, and Drury March 21, 23, and 24.
