LAWTON, Okla. – The Cameron men's tennis team took down the No. 7 ranked NJCAA team Cowley College on Monday, 7-0.

Cameron opened the match up by winning two out of the three doubles matches to earn a 1-0 lead. Mritunjay Badola and Jesus Villamizar started things off by winning 6-2 at No. 3 and then Julen Gutierrez and Vinicius Santos took down their opponent at No. 1, 6-4.

The Aggies then swept all six singles matches to earn the 7-0 win. Santos, Oscar del Granado, and Villamizar all three needed three sets to earn their wins at the one, two, and five matches, while Badola, Pierre Marion, and Julien Aubry-Damon all won in two sets.

With the win, the No. 24 ranked CU is now 4-3 and will next play on Friday, March 1 against St. Mary's with a pair of matches beginning at 1 p.m. in Lawton.
