Aggie men take down No. 4 West Florida

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The No. 24 ranked Cameron men's tennis team took down No. 4 West Florida on Friday 4-1 for their ninth win of the season.

Cameron opened up the match with a pair of wins in doubles to secure a 1-0 lead. CU's No. 1 paring of Vinicius Santos and Julen Gutierrez, who are ranked No. 13 in the ITA, took down UF's No. 9 ranked Sedar Bojadjiev and Lucas Sanchez 6-3, while Mritunjay Badola and Przemyslaw Zielinski recorded the 6-1 win at No. 2 doubles.

In singles, Santos came away with a 6-4, 0-6, 7-6 upset win over the No. 8 ranked Bojadjiev, while Oscar del Granado won his match at No. 3 6-3, 6-4 and Pierre Marion came away with a 7-6, 7-5 win at No. 6 to secure the win.

Cameron is now 9-3 on the season, while UF falls to 8-2 on the season.

The Aggies will face No. 9 Indianapolis on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. On Thursday, the Argos of West Florida beat UIndy 4-2.
