SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Cameron men's tennis team extended their winning to streak to six games as they took down their second straight top-10 opponent in No. 9 Indianapolis on Saturday.  

The match between the Greyhounds and Aggies was a hard fought battle from the start. CU opened up the day with a 6-2 win at No. 3 doubles by Oscar del Granado and Pierre Marion. UIndy evened up doubles play with a 6-4 win at No. 2. In the one doubles match, Cameron's No. 13 ranked pairing of Vinicius Santos and Julen Gutierrez defeated the No. 6 ranked pairing of Dario Guber and Matej Kostadinov 7-5 to secure the doubles point.

In singles play, Gutierrez and Marion gave CU an early 3-0 lead with quick wins at No. 5 and No. 6. At No. 2, Mritunjay Badola faced off against the No. 32 ranked singles player Nils Hoffacker, but fell 7-5, 6-3 to give Indianapolis their first win of the day. The remaining three matches all went to three sets, with del Granado securing the winning point at No. 3 with a 7-5, 0-6, 6-2 win.

Cameron is now 10-3 on the season and 2-0 against nationally ranked opponents, while UIndy falls to 8-3 on the year.

Next up for the Aggies will be their first two Lone Star Conference battles, as they visit UT Permian Basin on Monday, March 18, and then Western New Mexico on Wednesday, March 20.
