PORTALES, N.M. – Cameron freshman
Breley Webb struck out a career-best nine batters while also adding two hits, including a homer, at the plate to lead the Aggies to a 7-2 win over Eastern New Mexico on Friday.
After a scoreless first, Cameron put their first runs of the game on the board in the top of the second.

Kylie French walked a few batters later to put runners on first and third after Osterdock stole both second and third base.
Kaylyn Smith then singled up the middle to drive in both base runners, giving CU the 2-0 lead.
The Greyhounds matched CU with two runs in their half of the second, both of which were unearned. The first scored on an error by the Aggies and then the other on a two-out, bases loaded walk. Webb got out of the inning with the score tied striking out the final batter in the frame.
Cameron continued the trend and scored two more runs in the top of the third. Both runs came on back-to-back solo homers by Webb and
Callie Busby, giving CU a 4-2 lead.
Webb held ENMU scoreless in the bottom of the third, and then in their half of the fourth, the Black and Gold added two more.
Raley Long led off the inning with a solo shot to left field and then two batters later,
Brenna Busby got in on the action with a RBI double to left center that brought home Smith.
In the top of the sixth, CU added an insurance run to give them a 7-2 lead over the Greyhounds. Webb and Busby led off the inning with back-to-back singles. After a pop out by Osterdock,
Abbey Warren walked to load the bases with just one out on the board.

She also struck out a career-best nine hitters during her outing. Tuner Whorton threw a hitless seventh to secure the 7-2 win.
