CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) announced the 2020-21 recipients of the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Awards. The Academic Achievement Awards, in its 14
th year, is a program that recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at the Division II level.
Cameron landed 36 student-athletes on the honors list. Women's basketball, who had the highest team GPA in the Cameron Athletics department this past year, landed nine on the list, while softball was one of that department high with eight selections. The 878 student-athletes from the Lone Star Conference received the honor with 13 schools being represented.
To be eligible, the student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, the must have attended a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college level work, and have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during her/her last academic year.
