Brathwaite Leads Aggies at Chile Pepper Festival

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Cameron women's cross country team was led by Daesha Brathwaite on Friday at the Chile Pepper Festival hosted by the University of Arkansas at Agra Park.

Brathwaite placed 150th out of 276, finishing with a time of 19 minutes and 12.6 seconds.

Genevieve Young finished with a time of 19:54.6 to place 182nd.

Emma Costantini recorded a time of 20:31.6 to turn in a 189th place finish.

Turning in a finish of 20:49.1 for 194th place was Mathilde Winther.

Alejandra Collier placed 199th after crossing the finish line at 20:56.4.

Arian Spears finished at 205th with a time of 21:24.1.

The Aggies finished in 30th place as a team, 74 points ahead of UT Tyler.

Arkansas' Isabel Van Camp won the individual title with a time of 15:58.0, winning by 0.2 seconds over Lauren Gregory running unattached.

Arkansas won the team crown with 27 points, Southern Miss came in second with 123 points, and Dallas Baptist placed third with 130 points.
