Cameron Wraps Up Fall in Citrus Intercollegiate

CHAMPIONSGATE, Fla. – Cameron men's golf concluded the fall with a 12th-place finish in the Citrus Intercollegiate at the Championsgate Golf Club.
 
The Aggies recorded a two-day total of 291-284-295—870, a stroke behind Lynn and Shorter, who tied for 10th place. The Black-and-Gold would sink eight birdies on Tuesday. Trevor Mierl led the way with four, Chris Somerfield had two, and Preston Holmes and Hamish Murray added one. 
 
Murray was the top finisher for CU; he tied for 21st place with a scorecard of 72-67-76—215. Holmes tied for 34th with a three-round score of 72-71-74—217. Mierl shot a 75-72-72—219 to finish tied for 47th place. Somerfield placed tied for 54th after shooting a 73-74-73—220. Joey Kirk had a final round of 77 with a day-one score of 74-74 to finish with a 225, tying for 65th place. 
 
Barry would win the tournament after shooting a 280-271-287—838. Adam Alvarez of Florida Southern kept his lead after finishing with a 69 in the final round to win by one shot.
