Baseball Splits Doubleheader with St. Edwards

Aggies pick up win in doubleheader

Lawton, OK – Aggies score 11 runs in one inning.
  • Cameron Baseball started off the day with a big inning and a big win.  The Aggies found themselves down 7-0 in the bottom of the 3rd, when the bats started to heat up.  Cameron scored their first runs on a 2RBI triple from Donovan Borg.  Spencer Simpson added a two run homer.  Kody Bigford would drive in another two runs on the second triple of the inning.  Gabe Clyden hit a single that drove in Bigford.  Borg made his way to the plate again and hit a three run homer and Lance Barnett capped the inning with a solo home run.  Cameron would win the game 11-10 after stopping St. Edwards rally attempt short.
  • The Aggies had three homeruns in the second game, including two from Drew Durst.  The Aggies ended with 7 runs on 9 hits.
  • Cameron finishes their series with St. Edwards tomorrow, Mar.3, when they try to take their first series of the season.
