Cameron University's tennis team faced a challenging match against Angelo State University in the opening round of the NCAA DII Championship, at the Streich-Henry Tennis Complex in Lawton, OK. Despite valiant efforts across both doubles and singles matches, CU experienced tough losses as the day progressed.
In doubles play, while CU's Vasilisa Polunova and Anastasia Uspenskaia, and Jenna Goessel and Kateryna Rudenko fought hard, they ultimately succumbed to the duos from ASU. Similarly, in singles matches, although players like Lea Manga and Uspenskaia secured victories for CU, the overall outcome favored the visiting team.
Despite the loss, the Aggies showed immense determination, showcasing the competitive spirit that brought them such a great season.
