Cameron Aggies Projected to Finish 13th in the Volleyball Preseason Poll

RICHARDSON, Texas --- The Cameron Aggies volleyball team was picked to finish 13th in the LSC from a year ago, the conference announced this morning when it released the preseason poll.

The Aggies finished thirteenth with 168 points. National runners-up from a season ago, West Texas A&M was picked to repeat as conference champions, receiving 674 points and 23 of 41 first-place votes, while DBU was picked second with 665 points and 15 first-place votes.

The Cameron Aggies were followed in the poll by Eastern New Mexico (158 points), Western New Mexico (140 points), Midwestern State (130 points) and Sul Ross State (55 points). 

The Aggies are coming off a season in which they went 6-24 overall and 3-13 in conference play. 

Head Coach Nathan Martell returns four players from last season's team and adds eleven new players.  

The Aggies open up the 2024 season in Colorado Springs, Colorado for UCCS Mountain Lion Classic on September 6-7 at the Gallogly Events Center.
