LAWTON, Okla. - The Cameron University men's golf team travels to Amarillo, TX on Tuesday and Wednesday as they get ready to take on the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational.
The two-day, three-round event will be hosted at the Amarillo Country Club, with two rounds being played on Tuesday and the final round on Wednesday. The course boasts a par of 71 and measures in at 6,915 yards.
The field features 16 teams, including the Aggies, with a number of Lone Star Conference teams in the mix. The schools joining the Aggies on the tees are:Â UT Dallas, Odessa College, UT Tyler, Lubbock Christian, Dallas Baptist, Western New Mexico, Oklahoma Christian, William Jewell, Midwestern State, Colorado Mesa, Hutchinson Community College, UT Permian Basin, Westminster and West Texas A&M.
Last time out, the Aggie men turned in a strong performance at The Hrnciar, battling strong winds on the final day to bring home a third-place finish out of 12 teams.
The action tees up on Tuesday morning with a shotgun start at 8:50 AM to kick off the first round.
