Humble, Texas — The Men's Golf team completed their final round of the Houston Classic on Tuesday, as the team placed 11th overall with a stroke of 605 (Round 1: 304, Round 2: 301).

Carson Wright placed 24th with four over in the first round (76 strokes) and shot even in the second round (72 strokes) leading the team with consistent play, contributing significantly to the team's overall standing. Alois Casalonga placed 32nd with one over in the first round (73 strokes) and five over in the second round (77 strokes) showcasing his prowess on the course, delivering crucial scores in pivotal moments. Maximus Cavazos placed 52nd with three over in the first round (75 strokes) and five over in the second round (77 strokes) providing valuable support, demonstrating resilience and strategic play throughout the tournament. Ethan Korock placed 64th with eight over in the first round (80 strokes) and three over in the second round (75 strokes). Rory Gorman placed 83rd with ten over in the first round (82 strokes) and nine over in the second round (81 strokes) exhibiting promising talent, indicating a bright future ahead.

The golf team will be back on the road for the Oak Tree Invitational in Edmond, Oklahoma.
