Tyler, Texas- Men's Tennis defeats Gulf South Conference opponent West Alabama in Tyler, TX in first day of this weekends crossover event. The Aggies started off their 5-2 victory by earning the doubles point. Cameron splits the first two doubles results losing at #2 doubles and winning at #3 doubles before finalizing the doubles point with a win at #1 doubles 9-7 in the tiebreaker.

Rhys Edwards picks up the third point with a straight set victory over former Cameron All-American Tomas Almeida 7-6(5), 7-5. Freshmen
Noe Milliard wins his second Division II victory and clinches the match for Cameron with a thrilling victory 6-3 in the third set.
Vicente Preto earns the final point with a come from behind victory winning 4-6, 7-6(7), 11-9.
The Aggies move to 1-1 for the season and will play Auburn Montgomery March 1 at 11am in Tyler, TX.
