Portales, NM – The Cameron Aggies softball team started off their weekend road trip with a two game sweep over LSC opponent Eastern New Mexico. The Aggies take the first game 4-2 then win pick up the win in game two with a high scoring 10-9 outing.

Game 1: Cameron 4, Eastern New Mexico 2
The Aggies had a big 6th inning scoring 4 after a couple of big hits to get the win
- Haley Gardella and Tinley Schmidgall hit doubles in the 6th inning with runners on base to earn an RBI
- Kyndel McDaniel hit a two run homer to left field in the 6th inning to take the lead
- Stormee Reed pitched a complete game earning her 5th win of the season giving up only 7 hits, 2 runs with 1 strike out in 7 innings

Taylor Serio pitched a complete game earning her first win of the season
- Kelsey Creech goes 3 for 5 with a homerun and a double with 2 RBI
- Kaiden Boren went 1-3 at the plate hitting a double
- Payton DIckerson had 4 RBI's with a double and a sacrifice flyball
- Taylor Serio pitched a complete 7 inning game with 4 strike outs giving up 10 hits and 9 runs in her first college win
Looking Ahead
After picking up their fourth straight win, the Aggies will head west to Silver City, NM to play Western New Mexico with hopes to continue their winning streak. They play March 2nd in a double-header at 12pm and 2pm and you can catch them live on
