Lawton, Okla. – The Cameron University softball team split a doubleheader with Oklahoma Christian on Saturday afternoon at McMahon Field and Athletics Center.

In game one, Cameron fell 4-0 as Oklahoma Christian capitalized on early opportunities and limited the Aggies offensively. OC struck first in the opening inning and added insurance runs in the fourth, fifth, and sixth. Cameron managed just two hits on the day, both coming from Rylee Ross, while Stormee Reed battled in the circle with six strikeouts.

In game two, Cameron bounced back with a 3-2 victory to earn the split. The Aggies broke through in the third inning, taking advantage of an Oklahoma Christian error before Haley Gardella delivered an RBI single. After OC tied the game in the fourth, Cameron responded immediately as Ashdyn Fulfer drove in the go-ahead run. Madison Fulfer controlled the game in the circle, allowing just two runs to secure the win.
