Silver City, NM — Men's and women's tennis team delivered strong perfomances on Friday as they took down Western New Mexico University in a pair of exciting matches on the road. 

Men's Team Rolls to Victory

The men's team showed their strength with a commanding 5-2 win over Western New Mexico. The Aggies came out firing in doubles play, sweeping all three matches to take an early lead.

• Noe Millard and Kristian Kubik defeated Houee and Romero 6-2 at the top spot. 
• Rhys Edwards and Vicente Preto matched the scorre with a 6-2 win at No. 2.
• Louis Boilevin and Brendan Lock completed the sweep at No. 3, also with a 6-2 win.

In singles, Cameron clinched four of the six matches to steal the team win. Standout performances included:

• Louis Boilevin winning a close first set in a tiebreak and cruising in the second (7-6,6-1).
• Noe Milliard kept his rhythm with a 6-3,6-4 victory.
• Brendan Lock and Raphael Valente each delivered straight-set wins.

Women's Team Splits but Shows Depth

The women's team, while narrowly edged in a few matches, picked up a 5-2 win in singles and held their own in doubles. 

• Martyna Jankowska led the way with a dominant 6-1,6-0 win in singles. 
• Jenna Goessel followed with a 6-0,5-3 performance.
• Both Jankowska and Goessel teamed up to win No. 1 doubles 6-2.
