LAWTON, Ok — Aggies softball ended their 2025 season in the Lone Star Conference Championships Quarterfinals against UT Tyler on Thursday, 0-8.
For game two of the Lone Star Conference Championship weekend, the No. 7 Aggies faced off against the No. 2 UT Tyler Patriots. Cameron dropped all four conference meetings with UT Tyler this season with the most recent being on April 27th. The Aggies went into the postseason after a successful April that earned them the playoff spot.
Cameron went down in order to begin the afternoon and the Patriots immediately put runs on the board. UT Tyler loaded the bases in the bottom of the first inning and scored four, 0-4. The No. 2 seed crossed home twice in the second and twice again in the fourth, 0-8. The Aggies lost in the fifth frame by mercy rule and ended their season in the quarterfinals. Cameron finished off 2025 with a 29-24 overall and 22-22 conference record.
