Lawton, Oklahoma - On Thursday afternoon, the Cameron University women's basketball team fell to St. Edward's University. The Cameron Aggies got out to a great start against the Hilltoppers, shooting a remarkable percentage of 46.67% from the field and 30% from three-point range. A St. Edward's comeback created challenges , but the Aggies maintained that pace into the second quarter with Cameron leading, 18-14. As St. Edward's began trimming the deficit to 30-25 at the start of the third quarter, Cameron found itself in a competitive battle. The Hilltoppers outscored the Aggies by eight points by the halfway mark of the third quarter, momentarily taking the lead. Cameron, however, rallied with several key and-one plays, cutting the deficit to just one point, 44–43, going into the fourth quarter, the two teams engaged in a back-and-forth battle in the last quarter, but Cameron ultimately fell to the St. Edward's Hilltoppers.
