Box Score Plano, TX - The Cameron University Women's tennis team defeated Collin College, 5-0.

The Aggies claimed the first doubles win on the No. 1 court, with Jenna Goessel and Adel Ismagulova earning a 6-2 victory. Alexa Garcia and Nil Kalkavan fell on the No. 2 court, 6-3, to even up doubles play. The Aggies claimed the doubles point after Alexa Lugo and Isabella Quintero won in a tiebreak, 7-6 (7-2), on the No. 3 court.

In singles play, freshman Alexa Lugo put the Aggies on the board with a straight-set victory on the No. 5 court. Alexsa Paucar picked up a 6-3, 6-2 win on the No. 6 court to put Cameron up 3-0 in the match. On the No. 3 court, Alexa Garcia claimed match point with a 6-3, 6-0 win over Collin College's Camila Luzardo. Jenna Goessel earned the win on the No. 1 court in a third-set supertiebreaker to make the match 5-0 for the Aggies.
